A coordinated operation located 34 children and teenagers reported missing across Nassau County, Suffolk County and Queens. Clearview AI provided technology that generated leads for investigators to verify.

Clearview AI said in a press release that a coordinated operation located 34 children and teenagers reported missing across Nassau County, Suffolk County and Queens. They were between 7 and 18 years old when reported missing.

The National Child Protection Task Force coordinated the operation with New York state agencies, law enforcement, nonprofit groups and private partners. Clearview AI provided technology that generated leads, which trained investigators then verified.

One teenager located during the operation had been missing for two years and was connected with trained advocates before reuniting with her family. The Office of Children and Family Services coordinated support for recovered children with nonprofit organizations and victim assistance programs.
