CIQ Integrates NVIDIA CUDA into Rocky Linux for Enhanced AI and HPC Workloads
CIQ has announced a collaboration with NVIDIA to integrate the NVIDIA CUDA Toolkit into its Rocky Linux platform, announced in a press release. This integration aims to simplify and accelerate GPU acceleration for AI, machine learning, and high-performance computing (HPC) workloads.
The NVIDIA CUDA Toolkit, known for its accelerated computing capabilities, will be natively integrated into CIQ's commercial offerings. This collaboration is designed to reduce complexity and deployment time, transforming how enterprises access and operationalize GPU acceleration. By providing a fully tested and optimized stack, CIQ's Rocky Linux platform eliminates the need for manual installations, thereby reducing deployment risks and time-to-production from weeks to minutes.
Rocky Linux, which has quickly become a leading distribution in the Enterprise Linux segment, is now positioned as a premier platform for GPU-accelerated computing environments. The integration with NVIDIA CUDA ensures that enterprises can unlock the full performance of NVIDIA's accelerated computing from development to production, whether for training large language models, running inference pipelines, or executing advanced scientific simulations.
CIQ will offer prebuilt Rocky Linux with CUDA images through its registries and major cloud marketplaces, ensuring consistency and compliance across the GPU development lifecycle. This collaboration is expected to significantly reduce the operational burden for teams deploying GPU-accelerated workloads at scale.
