Cartken, a startup recognized for its autonomous food delivery robots, is shifting its focus to industrial robotics. Initially concentrating on last-mile deliveries, the company has identified a growing demand for industrial applications, prompting this strategic pivot.

The transition has led to the development of new robotics solutions such as the Cartken Hauler and Runner, designed for heavier and indoor deliveries. These robots, originally built to navigate diverse terrains and weather conditions, have found significant utility in industrial settings. A notable partnership includes German manufacturer ZF Lifetec, which has integrated Cartken's robots into its operations.

Additionally, Cartken has strengthened its collaboration with Mitsubishi, which plans to acquire nearly 100 Cartken Hauler robots for use in Japanese industrial facilities. Despite this shift towards industrial applications, Cartken will continue its food delivery operations, utilizing these routes to test new capabilities.
