Caris Life Sciences Launches Multi Cancer Detection Blood Test Caris Detect
Caris Life Sciences announced in a press release the launch of Caris Detect, a blood test designed for early detection of multiple cancer types. The test uses whole genome sequencing, whole transcriptome sequencing, and artificial intelligence to analyze molecular and biological signals linked to cancer.
Caris Detect examines DNA, RNA, and other biological patterns to identify cancer signals at early stages. The system is supported by Caris' molecular profiling database, which includes over one million cases and more than 50 billion molecular markers. This dataset enables AI models to detect subtle disease indicators across various cancer types.
The product launch follows data from the Caris Detect ACHIEVE 1 study, which showed strong performance in detecting cancer signals across multiple types. Caris stated it will continue research to expand the test's clinical evidence and capabilities through future studies.
