Canton Fair Adds 16 AI Features for 2026 Event

The 140th Canton Fair will use 16 AI features, including booth navigation and augmented reality displays, when it opens in Guangzhou on October 15.

In a press release, the Canton Fair said its 140th event will run in Guangzhou from October 15 to November 4, 2026. More than 220,000 overseas buyers from 197 countries and regions have registered in advance.

The fair will deploy 22 smart application scenarios and 16 AI specific features. These include augmented reality information displays and navigation covering more than 75,000 booths across all halls, with accuracy measured at the meter level.

More than 32,000 companies will exhibit at the event, and 64% of exhibitors use industrial internet and AI technologies. New products will represent 23.2% of exhibits, while green products will account for 26%.
