Caliber Public Safety Adds AI Narrative Tool to Online RMS
Caliber Public Safety announced in a press release new AI Narrative capabilities within Online RMS, its records management system for public safety agencies. The feature is available now and is designed to help officers create incident report narratives from data already entered into a report.
The Narrative Draft Assistant generates a structured draft using report details such as persons, offenses, property, and other case elements. Caliber said 34 agencies currently have the feature enabled, and pilot users reported expected time savings of 20 to 40 percent in narrative creation.
The tool uses a human in the loop model. Drafts include placeholders that require officers to review, edit, and complete the narrative before submission, and the authoring officer remains accountable for the final report.
AI Narrative also adds a Narrative Review workflow for supervisors. Caliber said security and compliance measures are included to protect agency data.
