BD and Henry Ford Health Partner for Pharmacy Automation
BD has announced a partnership with Henry Ford Health to revolutionize pharmacy automation, announced in a press release. The collaboration will focus on deploying the BD Rowa™ Vmax, a robotic solution designed to improve medication storage and prescription delivery.
This initiative aims to enhance prescription retrieval processes at Henry Ford Health's community pharmacies in Southeast and Central Michigan. The BD Rowa™ Vmax system, widely used in Europe, offers high-speed, modular storage and dispensing capabilities, allowing patients 24/7 access to their prescriptions.
The partnership promises several benefits, including improved pharmacy staff efficiency and real-time prescription tracking. By automating routine tasks, pharmacy teams can focus on higher-value patient care activities, ultimately enhancing the overall community pharmacy experience.
