AutoFlight Completes Multi-Aircraft Formation Flight and Begins Certification for V5000 Matrix

AutoFlight has completed a demonstration flight of a mixed formation consisting of one V5000 Matrix aircraft and two V2000 eVTOL units, verifying communication, route planning, and coordination capabilities while starting the airworthiness certification process.

AutoFlight announced in a press release that it has successfully completed a demonstration flight featuring a mixed formation of three aircraft. The formation included one V5000 Matrix and two eVTOL aircraft from the V2000 series.

The mission validated key operational capabilities such as communication links, route planning, flight coordination, and safety checks across five ton and two ton platforms. The test also demonstrated AutoFlight's system integration and coordinated multi aircraft operations for low altitude logistics, emergency response, maritime support, and regional air transport applications.

At the same time, AutoFlight has officially begun the airworthiness certification process for the V5000 Matrix aircraft.
