Autodesk Reports 18 Percent Revenue Growth and Plans to Acquire MaintainX
Autodesk reported first quarter fiscal 2027 results with revenue of $1.93 billion, an 18 percent increase from the previous year, announced in a press release. The company also stated its intention to acquire MaintainX, which provides AI powered maintenance solutions, to advance its unified operations platform.
Autodesk recorded billings of $1.69 billion, up 18 percent year over year. GAAP operating margin reached 28 percent, while non-GAAP operating margin stood at 39 percent. GAAP earnings per share were $2.32, and non-GAAP earnings per share were $2.99. Cash flow from operating activities totaled $893 million, a 58 percent increase.
Revenue from Autodesk’s Design segment rose 18 percent to $1.61 billion, while its Make segment grew 25 percent to $224 million. By region, revenue increased 16 percent in the Americas, 21 percent in EMEA, and 17 percent in APAC.
The company raised its fiscal 2027 guidance to reflect continued business strength and will update forecasts after the MaintainX acquisition closes.
