Autodesk Nominates Omar Abbosh to Board of Directors

Autodesk has nominated Omar Abbosh, CEO of Pearson and former executive at Microsoft and Accenture, for election to its Board of Directors at the upcoming annual meeting. Stephen Milligan will not stand for re-election.

Autodesk has nominated Omar Abbosh as an independent director for election at its upcoming annual general meeting, announced in a press release. Abbosh is the chief executive officer of Pearson and previously held senior roles at Microsoft Corporation and Accenture.

Autodesk stated that Abbosh’s experience leading technology and business transformation initiatives, including work focused on AI to improve customer experience, would bring valuable insight to the board.

The company also confirmed that Stephen Milligan will not stand for re-election and will continue to serve until the conclusion of his current term. Following the annual meeting, Autodesk’s board will consist of 11 directors, 10 of whom will be independent.
