AuthenX to Demonstrate Detachable 2D FAU Technology at Computex 2026
AuthenX Inc. will present its Detachable 2D Fiber Array Unit (FAU) at Computex Taipei 2026, announced in a press release. The technology aims to address scalability limits in co-packaged optics used in AI and high-performance computing clusters.
The Detachable 2D FAU integrates proprietary Meta-Lens technology that uses sub-wavelength nanostructures to manage beam collimation and wavefront shaping. This design allows for low insertion loss and a higher alignment tolerance, enabling a pluggable optical assembly suitable for large-scale deployment.
AuthenX's Meta-Lenses are produced using 12-inch CMOS-compatible semiconductor processes. The company has also developed an automated packaging and testing pipeline to support commercial production of its FAU products.
The live demonstration will take place at Booth S0213a in the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center from June 2 to 5 during Computex 2026.
