Augmentus has secured a strategic investment from Applied Ventures, the venture capital arm of Applied Materials, to accelerate its AI-driven robotics platform for high-mix manufacturing environments.

Augmentus has received a strategic investment from Applied Ventures, LLC, the venture capital arm of Applied Materials, announced in a press release. The funding aims to accelerate the Singapore-based company's AI robotics platform for high-mix, high-variability manufacturing.

Augmentus' core technology, known as AutoPath, combines 3D vision and adaptive intelligence to enhance industrial robot perception and motion planning. The system generates precise point clouds and enables real-time path adjustments, allowing robots to handle complex geometries and surface variations.

The company said its no-code intelligence layer removes the need for manual programming, allowing robots to be deployed and reconfigured in minutes. Co-founder and CEO Daryl Lim stated that the investment will help advance Augmentus' goal of enabling more adaptive and autonomous manufacturing systems.
