Arena Physica Brings Heaviside Electromagnetism Model to Microsoft Discovery

Oct 13, 2026
Arena Physica's Heaviside model is now available on Microsoft Discovery for electromagnetic design and verification across radio frequency, photonics, and semiconductor work.

Arena Physica said in a press release that its Heaviside foundation model for electromagnetism is now available on Microsoft Discovery. The integration supports electromagnetic design and verification for radio frequency, photonics, and semiconductor applications.

Heaviside-1 contains 350 million parameters and was trained on 250,000 3D field simulations comprising 500 billion field samples. Arena Physica says the model can predict a structure's full 3D electromagnetic field response in milliseconds, about 100,000 times faster than a traditional solver and within one decibel of commercial accuracy.

Agents in Microsoft Discovery can use Heaviside for rapid predictions, then switch to traditional solvers for final validation. Potential uses include antennas, semiconductor packaging, and high speed interconnect design.
