Araceli Biosciences Secures $11.2M to Accelerate AI-Driven Drug Discovery
Araceli Biosciences has successfully closed a $11.2 million seed financing round, as announced in a press release. The funding includes $7.2 million in new equity investment and the conversion of $4.0 million in SAFEs. This capital will be used to expand the company's commercial operations, scale manufacturing, and advance its AI-driven product offerings in high-content imaging.
Araceli's flagship platform, the Endeavor® High Content Imaging System, is designed to deliver ultra high-throughput imaging, providing results up to 40 times faster than traditional systems. This system, combined with Araceli's AI-driven analysis software, Clairvoyance, aims to streamline workflows and significantly speed up drug discovery timelines.
The funds will also support the scaling of operational infrastructure, advancement of market applications including personalized medicine, and enhancement of the platform's real-time analysis capabilities. CEO Matt Beaudet emphasized the importance of real-time imaging and analysis in AI-driven drug discovery, stating that the traditional model of waiting for data is becoming obsolete.
