AppWork Acquires Paraspot AI for Video Property Inspections

Oct 13, 2026
AppWork acquired Paraspot AI and plans to add its automated video inspection technology to its property maintenance platform later this year.

AppWork acquired Paraspot AI, a provider of automated video inspections for rental properties, the company said in a press release. The technology uses video and voice intelligence models to automatically detect damage such as cracks, stains, broken items and missing items during inspections.

Paraspot AI can compare a unit's move out condition with its original move in inspection. It produces reports with time stamped photos, descriptions and estimated repair costs to document security deposit charges.

AppWork plans to rebuild the technology within its platform and release the integration later this year. Inspection data will connect with existing maintenance tools, including the Make Ready Board. Paraspot AI cofounder Yakir Saadia will continue with AppWork as head of computer vision.
