Ant Group Launches AI Campaign Against Health Misinformation
Ant Group has launched a significant initiative through its AI healthcare app AQ to combat health misinformation in China, with a particular focus on protecting seniors, announced in a press release. The app now features an AI-powered section that helps users identify fraudulent medical ads and misinformation by allowing them to upload photos, type text, or make voice calls for verification.
The initiative is supported by over 300 renowned physicians across China, who have collaborated to develop AI Doctor Agents within the AQ app, providing credible medical advice. Additionally, more than 200,000 doctors are available for real-time consultations through Ant Group's online platform Haodf.com.
To further enhance awareness, Ant Group plans to conduct thousands of in-person education sessions nationwide, aiming to protect seniors from medical misinformation. The AQ app, launched in June 2025, has already attracted 100 million users and is powered by Ant Group's Healthcare Large Model, which excels in medical reasoning and interaction capabilities.
