Amca has closed a $300 million Series B funding round, valuing the company at more than $1 billion, announced in a press release. The round was led by Caffeinated Capital with participation from Lightspeed Venture Partners and continued support from Andreessen Horowitz, Lux Capital, Construct Capital, and House Capital.

The company develops and manufactures aerospace and defense components through an integrated platform that combines engineering, qualification testing, technical data, and certified production. Amca operates six factories across California, Iowa, and New York, including BC Systems, a power electronics supplier for classified defense programs. It also runs an advanced prototyping and testing facility in El Segundo, California.

Amca is expanding its RAPID platform across its manufacturing network. RAPID is a vertically integrated product development system that uses AI to combine design, prototyping, testing, documentation, and manufacturing support. The company states that RAPID reduces production time for hardware by more than 67 percent compared with industry averages.

Amca supplies components for major aerospace and defense platforms such as the F-35, and works with Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, Airbus, Embraer, Honeywell, and Raytheon. The new funding will be used to expand RAPID, add and acquire factories nationwide, and increase delivery capacity for critical components supporting U.S. defense and aviation supply chains.
