Altamont Software has successfully integrated AI-powered radiology reporting applications with existing imaging modalities, announced in a press release. This integration aims to eliminate the need for dictation of clinical measurements, thereby improving efficiency in medical imaging processes.

The integration has been completed at several medical facilities, including ARA Health Specialists, Casper Medical Imaging, and Central Oregon Radiology Associates. The increasing complexity and volume of medical imaging data, coupled with a shortage of radiologists, have driven the rapid deployment of AI-assisted reporting in medical imaging.

Altamont Software's President and Co-Founder, Chris Barnett, emphasized the importance of specialized expertise and robust data mapping tools to fully leverage AI investments. The company plans to showcase its AI-based report integration capabilities at the upcoming Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine (SIIM) Annual Meeting.
