Alex Secures $20M to Enhance AI Recruiting Capabilities
Alex, an AI recruiting startup, has raised $20 million to enhance its AI capabilities and expand its team, announced in a press release. The funding includes a $17 million Series A round led by Peak XV Partners, with participation from Y Combinator, Uncorrelated Ventures, and several CHROs from Fortune 500 companies.
Alex aims to transform the recruitment process by automating tasks such as video and phone interviews, resume screening, and fraud detection. The platform's AI agents conduct thousands of interviews daily, helping recruiters focus on building relationships with pre-qualified candidates. This approach not only accelerates the hiring process but also improves the quality of hires.
In just 18 months, Alex has facilitated hiring for hundreds of companies, including Fortune 100s and major financial institutions. The startup's long-term vision is to redefine hiring across the labor market by leveraging AI to ensure every candidate has the opportunity to be discovered.

Tensordyne Napier: What If One Rack Could Do the Work of Nine?
Tensordyne
This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
