Albert Expands AI Shelf Scanning with Brain Corp for Smarter Inventory Management
Albert has expanded its use of Brain Corp's AI shelf scanning robots across its 350 stores in the Czech Republic, announced in a press release. The technology identifies empty shelves and pricing errors automatically, reducing the need for manual corrections and improving planogram compliance.
The BrainOS powered system was tested in live store environments and exceeded its 90 percent accuracy target, consistently reaching the high 90s in identifying products, price tags, and exceptions. Its performance improved with each scan as the AI learned from ongoing store data.
Albert began using Brain Corp technology in 2022 with robotic floor scrubbers. The success of this new deployment has prepared the retailer to scale AI inventory insights across Central and Southeastern Europe, improving operational visibility and product availability.
