Akeyless Introduces AI Agent Identity Security Platform

November 03, 2025
Akeyless has launched its AI Agent Identity Security solution to help enterprises secure the identities and access of autonomous AI systems through verifiable identities, secretless authentication, and just-in-time access.

Akeyless has introduced its AI Agent Identity Security solution to protect autonomous AI systems, announced in a press release. The platform provides verifiable identities, secretless authentication, just-in-time access, and AI-powered insights to help enterprises securely adopt and manage AI agents.

The new solution includes the Akeyless AI Agent Identity Provider, which issues short-lived, federated digital identities for AI agents operating across cloud and on-premises environments. It integrates with major identity frameworks from AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure, as well as AI platforms such as OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google Gemini. The system replaces static API keys with dynamic credentials and supports development tools like VS Code, Cursor, and GitHub Copilot.

Akeyless also launched AI Agent Privileged Access Management to monitor and govern agent actions based on Zero Trust and least-privilege principles. In addition, its AI Insights assistant enables natural-language queries, automated risk detection, and real-time visibility into how identities are used across AI agents, machines, and human users.

The company stated that these features expand its existing Identity Security Platform, which unifies secrets management, certificate lifecycle management, and privileged access under a single control plane secured with quantum-safe encryption. Akeyless plans to showcase the platform in its upcoming web series, *Identity Security – Unleashed for the AI Era*, beginning November 6, 2025.
