The report highlights that enterprises are shifting from cloud-centric models to distributed edge architectures powered by AI. Key growth drivers include data proliferation, 5G deployment, hardware acceleration, and enterprise AI adoption. In 2024, software accounted for 48% of the market, while on-premises deployments represented 60% of total revenue.

By organization size, large enterprises held a 65% share, and by technology, machine learning led with 45%. The industrial IoT application segment remains dominant, and manufacturing was the leading end-use industry with 22% market share. Regionally, the United States led with 38% of the global market.

Key players in the market include NVIDIA, Amazon Web Services, and Microsoft Corporation, alongside Cisco and IBM, which continue to advance edge AI technologies. The report anticipates continued expansion through 2032 as industries adopt intelligent infrastructure and 5G-enabled edge solutions.
