Agility Robotics Picks Nyobolt Batteries for Digit 5

Oct 15, 2026
Nyobolt will supply fast charging battery technology for the Digit 5 humanoid robot, supporting 90 minutes of operation after a nine minute charge.

Agility Robotics selected Nyobolt to supply battery technology for its Digit 5 humanoid robot, the company said in a press release.

The planned battery system will provide 90 minutes of operation after a nine minute charge. Agility expects this 10:1 ratio between operation and charging to let Digit 5 work for more than 20 hours within a 24 hour period. Digit 4 has a 2:1 ratio.

Early access to Digit 5 robots equipped with the Nyobolt battery system is expected in the first half of 2027. Agility plans to increase availability for manufacturing, warehouse and distribution operators over the following six to nine months.

Tensordyne Napier: What If One Rack Could Do the Work of Nine?

Tensordyne

This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
