Adobe Launches Firefly AI Assistant Across Creative Cloud Apps

Adobe has launched the Firefly AI Assistant, a new cross-application tool for its Creative Cloud suite, reports TechCrunch. Initially previewed as Project Moonlight, the assistant will enter public beta in the coming weeks.

The Firefly AI Assistant can operate across apps including Photoshop, Premiere, Lightroom, Express, Illustrator, and Acrobat. Users can describe tasks through text prompts or adjust elements using buttons and sliders. The assistant can suggest actions, coordinate between applications, and execute workflows while allowing user input at any point.

Adobe is also introducing multi-step “skills” for the assistant, such as a social media asset creator that adapts images for different platforms by resizing and optimizing files. The tool will learn from user preferences to offer more relevant suggestions over time.

In addition to the assistant, Adobe is adding new features to its Firefly platform, including video editing tools for noise reduction, reverb adjustment, and color correction, along with integration into Adobe Stock. The company is also expanding Firefly’s library with the Kling 3.0 and Kling 3.0 Omni AI models.
