Accenture Launches Physical AI Orchestrator for Software-Defined Manufacturing

October 29, 2025
Accenture has introduced its Physical AI Orchestrator, a cloud-based solution that combines NVIDIA Omniverse technologies and Accenture’s AI Refinery agents to help manufacturers create software-defined factories and warehouses.

Accenture has launched the Physical AI Orchestrator, a cloud-based platform designed to help manufacturers build software-defined factories and warehouses, according to a company press release. The solution integrates NVIDIA Omniverse technologies, including the Mega Blueprint and Metropolis frameworks, with AI agents from Accenture’s AI Refinery platform.

The Physical AI Orchestrator enables manufacturers to create live digital twins of physical assets such as conveyors, robots, and warehouse layouts. These digital twins simulate production environments in real time, allowing AI agents to detect issues and optimize operations by sending precise instructions to physical equipment.

At NVIDIA GTC in Washington, D.C., Accenture demonstrated early applications of the platform. Belden used it to develop a virtual safety fence that halts or reroutes robots when workers enter restricted zones. Other clients in life sciences and consumer goods have used the system to improve production validation and warehouse throughput.

The platform includes features for reality capture, AI-assisted design, vision analytics, and XR extensions for immersive collaboration. Early adopters have reported reductions in design and capital costs, as well as improved accuracy in factory planning.
