Zventus and TecNM Open Software Development Center of Excellence in Ensenada

October 21, 2025
Zventus and the Ensenada Institute of Technology (ITE), part of Mexico’s Tecnológico Nacional de México (TecNM) system, have launched a Software Development Center of Excellence to train students in AI, cloud computing, and robotics through a dual education program.

Global consulting firm Zventus and the Ensenada Institute of Technology (ITE), part of the Tecnológico Nacional de México (TecNM) network, have launched a Software Development Center of Excellence (CoE) on the ITE campus, announced in a press release.

The new center is the first of its kind to operate directly within a university. It will focus on high-demand technologies such as artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and robotics, aiming to build a job-ready talent pipeline for the digital economy.

The initiative is structured under Mexico’s Dual Education Program, which integrates practical experience into academic training. Students will spend about 80% of their time working on real-world projects at the Zventus CoE and 20% in classroom learning at ITE. This model is designed to equip graduates with global business experience and bilingual skills.

The launch event was attended by Zventus President Angel Alban, ITE Director Dr. Valentín Sánchez Beltrán, and representatives from local government and industry. The center will also serve as a long-term resource for Zventus, expanding the company’s established internship and talent development programs across the Americas.
