oToBrite Introduces AI Sensing System for Bus Door Safety

oToBrite has launched the SafeZone Anti-Pinch Vision-AI Sensing System to enhance bus door safety, using real-time image recognition to prevent passenger injuries.

oToBrite Electronics, Inc. has launched the SafeZone Anti-Pinch Vision-AI Sensing System for bus doors, designed to prevent passenger injuries through advanced real-time image recognition technology. Announced in a press release, this system detects passengers in the door area and automatically halts the door from closing, thereby preventing accidental injuries.

The SafeZone system is capable of recognizing individuals, including those carrying umbrellas or partially obscured, and is particularly beneficial for elderly passengers with slower mobility. This proactive safety solution addresses the limitations of traditional anti-pinch systems, which often rely on pressure-sensitive sensors that only react after contact.

Approved by public bus operators in Taiwan, the system not only enhances passenger safety but also reduces operational risks associated with passenger injury incidents. By leveraging deep learning algorithms, oToBrite's Vision-AI technology offers a more comprehensive approach to bus door safety, ensuring a safer boarding and exiting experience for all passengers.
