Orca Security Integrates Model Context Protocol for GenAI Access

Orca Security has become the first cloud security platform to support the Model Context Protocol (MCP), enabling universal access to GenAI models like Anthropic's Claude.

Orca Security has become the first cloud security platform to support the Model Context Protocol (MCP), announced in a press release. This integration allows security teams to access GenAI models, such as Anthropic's Claude, through the new Orca MCP Server. This development enables users to investigate cloud threats more efficiently by connecting the Orca Unified Data Model with GenAI chatbots.

The Model Context Protocol, recently open-sourced by Anthropic, provides a standard for securely linking data and services to AI models. This allows security professionals to use GenAI for quick and detailed risk assessments without needing to directly engage with the Orca Platform. The Orca MCP Server enhances AI capabilities by supporting plain language queries in over 50 languages, improving cloud security visibility and reducing manual investigation time.

Orca Security's patented SideScanning and Unified Data Model offer comprehensive cloud telemetry, making it easier for security teams to uncover risks and compliance gaps. The Orca MCP Server is now available, providing a streamlined approach to cloud security management through AI-driven insights.
