Oracle Red Bull Racing is enhancing its performance for the 2025 Formula One season by expanding its use of Oracle Cloud and AI technologies, announced in a press release. The team will leverage Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) to run billions of simulations, increasing simulation speeds by 10% with the new OCI Compute A2 and A4 Flex shapes.

In a groundbreaking pilot, Oracle is introducing generative AI to the pit wall, enabling the team to efficiently query historical regulations and adapt to sporting rules over a race weekend. This AI solution will assist in quickly reviewing thousands of pages of regulatory rulings to build cases for protests within a 30-minute window after a race.

Additionally, Oracle Red Bull Racing is standardizing its infrastructure from the factory to the track using Oracle Virtualization and Oracle Linux. This standardization aims to streamline IT operations and improve flexibility by allowing the same code to run across different environments, reducing duplication and saving time and costs.

The 2025 F1 season kicks off with the Louis Vuitton Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne from March 14-16.
