LALIGA has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Globant to integrate agentic artificial intelligence into its operations, announced in a press release. The initiative will use Globant’s AI Pods subscription model, powered by Globant Enterprise AI, to enhance efficiency and performance across multiple areas of the football organization.

Through their joint venture, Sportian, both companies will develop AI agents to support functions such as talent development, operations, and technology. The system will enable improved sports performance analysis, personalized content creation, and workflow automation within a centralized platform.

Globant stated that the AI Pods model, which organizes AI agents into supervised teams, has already been implemented in industries including aviation, banking, and entertainment. Sportian will apply this framework to LALIGA’s ecosystem, expanding its existing suite of sports technology solutions that currently serve organizations like the Saudi Pro League, Lega Serie A, and MotoGP.

The agreement marks a continuation of collaboration between Globant and LALIGA, focusing on building scalable and efficient AI-driven systems for the sports sector.
