IFS Loops Introduces Agentic AI Digital Workers for Industrial Operations
IFS has launched a new version of its IFS Loops agent platform, introducing 10 Digital Workers equipped with 50 agentic skills, announced in a press release. The company plans to expand the platform to include more than 100 skills by December 2025.
The IFS Loops Digital Workers are designed for mission-critical workflows in industries such as manufacturing, energy, utilities, telecoms, construction, aerospace, and defense. They autonomously manage high-volume operational tasks like field dispatch, supplier coordination, customer order management, and inventory replenishment. These workers integrate with enterprise systems to deliver real-time intelligence and compliance capabilities.
Unlike traditional automation or generative AI tools, the agentic AI workers use domain-specific industrial language models to make context-driven decisions, continuously improving performance. They can operate within IFS Cloud or alongside legacy systems, providing immediate operational impact.
IFS also announced IFS Loops Studio, scheduled for release in Q1 2026, which will allow customers to create and customize their own digital workers. The company’s roadmap includes 50 additional agentic skills by the end of 2025, expanding the platform’s range of industrial applications.
