Apogee has received a five-year, $103.6 million contract to provide positioning, navigation, and timing support services for the Department of War, focusing on GPS modernization across multiple U.S. Air Force bases.

Apogee announced in a press release that it has been awarded a five-year, $103.6 million task order to provide positioning, navigation, and timing contractor support services for the Department of War. The contract supports modernization efforts across the global PNT enterprise.

The company will deliver technical expertise and mission support across several U.S. Air Force installations, including Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio, Robins Air Force Base in Georgia, and Eglin Air Force Base in Florida. The work focuses on enhancing GPS capabilities enabled by satellite constellations that deliver critical data.

Apogee will collaborate with the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center to advance next generation PNT solutions, improve system performance, and ensure reliability across the Department’s operations. The effort aligns with the Department’s priorities to enhance GPS control systems and accelerate delivery of operational capabilities following changes in acquisition strategy.

As part of this initiative, Apogee is expanding its workforce in adaptive acquisition, mission support, and advanced technology fields to meet growing mission demands.
